What you can expect today:How the "Nested Loops" technique boosts your copyWhy drugs can make you smart10 Frameworks every copywriter should knowEstimated reading time: 1 minute 45 seconds

3 Movies In OneBefore we start, let me tell you what "Nested Loops" is:"Begin a story, then start another before finishing the first. Conclude them all at the end."Confused? Yeah me too.Think about it like a movie.Whenever you watch a movie, there's a bunch of sub-stories.You don't get to defeat ONE bad guy, you have to beat other bad guys to get to the final boss. What does this do?It keeps you engaged for the entire movie, because let's be honest:99% of people have the attention span of a goldfish.Plus, it would be a pretty boring movie if it was just a couple dudes walking to the bad guy, killing him, and then BAM, it ends. It's way more fun if you have to find a magical map, get a superpowered weapon, and then you get to fight the final boss.Especially with an entire series of movies? You need a library of smaller stories happening before the final showdown. So how does this have anything to do with copy?Open up a couple subplots in your email/script/blog to keep your audience engaged.Every time they get bored by one story,Open another. That doesn't mean you should put 100 different storylines in your copy...Add just enough to keep your audience interested and happy. And at the end, close them all, timing it perfectly so that it ends with your customer's bathroom break.(Assuming they're reading your stuff online. If you were in there with them, that'd be weird)I'll give you an example:Pretend that you're selling cars.Instead of ONLY mentioning how fast it can go,Mention some other attributes to keep things fresh.Maybe you talk about how it's great for off-roading as well. And once your customer gets bored of that...Mention that they also don't have to worry about getting launched out of the car, because the safety tech is cutting-edge.Then to close it all, stick in a CTA that summarizes it all.

Summary: Get multiple movies playing in your customer's head with your copy, then finish them all with a CTA at the end.

The Romans Used DrugsDid you know that in the Eleusinian Mysteries (a sort of Roman ceremony), they used an "ancient potion"?The "potion" would be made and used as a psychedelic during the Roman rituals.Marcus Aurelius, the Roman Emperor and author of Meditations also took part in this, and there's evidence that he was on psychedelics while writing the book.So you know...not telling you to do drugs...But psychedelics might be something to look at.Ancient Rome's Top G
